
KiVS’11 solicits the following kinds of contributions:
- Long papers comprise up to 12 pages and present novel scientific results that are approved by the community. Accepted full papers are published in volume 17 of the Open Access Series in Informatics of the Leibniz-Zentrums für Informatik (Schloss Dagstuhl) and may be referenced via http://drops.dagstuhl.de/opus/institut_oasics.php?fakultaet=03.
- Short papers comprise up to 6 pages and describe ongoing research and/or innovative technological aspects. They are also published in volume 17 of the Open Access Series in Informatics.
- Industry papers for the most recently introduced industry track comprise approx. 2 pages and present innovative projects, new technologies and trends from the industrial point of view. They, too, are published in volume 17 of the Open Access Series in Informatics.
- Workshop contributions comprise up to 12 pages and cover special workshop-related issues that are subject of ongoing research. Workshop contributions are published as volume 37 of the Electronic Communications of the EASST.
